Virtual Live Caricature
Virtual Live Caricature is a one-of-a-kind fringe activity that may use to commemorate your special occasion. Private LIVE Magic Show
In compliance with the Covid 19 Regulations, we have reopened Phase 2 of our live Magic performances in Singapore, allowing us to continue performances. Beginning on June 18, guests will be able to assemble in small groups of no more than five persons, with no restrictions. Interaction Through A Different Mode
The notion goes that if people wanted to see Magic, they could click on YouTube without engaging a magician for an online magic performance. This is true, to some extent. Unlike other types of art, like singing and juggling, Magic allows us to communicate with our audiences on a more personal level.
The difficulty today is to make engagement organic rather than forced; for example, I have seen a virtual presentation in which the magician selects his card and then proceeds to discover it. This sort of performance attitude restricts the scope of what a virtual magic show should be and demonstrates the magician's inability to think critically.
To make my magic participatory, I organize it straightforwardly. Simple instructions and an openness that is on the same level as if you and I were in the same room are all that are required for the Magic to happen.
For the magician who chooses his card and then has to discover it, an easy alternative is to have a member of the audience call a halt while you deal the cards down to ensure a fair selection of the cards. Once you put more thought into it, it becomes simple.
Personalize Entertainment
As closely as feasible, a Virtual Show should simulate a live performance. Two levels of personalization are used in my show, Digital on Digital, which is a digital-only presentation. The first step is to install signs to demonstrate that this concert is intended just for them. Front Row Seats and Magic on Demand, two of the programs produced by my team, demonstrate this.
Taking it a step further, I tailor my Magic material to highlight the brands or ideas of the audience. As part of a recent sales networking virtual performance, I coded and developed several goods from the firm that were utilized as props in the show.

I created a whole show with a consistent theme from beginning to finish to elicit participation and attention for my presentation. As a result, the story of the performance is comprehended, and the spectators are driven to participate in the Magic that is happening on stage.
Many of the virtual performances that I have seen look more like a succession of magic demonstrations ("Let me show you a trick") than they do real-life shows. For audiences, it makes little difference whether they browse to YouTube and watch a playlist of magic tricks if the presentation does not have a thematic framework.
Bonus Tip: Production Value
It is a source of tremendous pride for me when it comes to Magic, and I put out much effort to ensure that the audience devours the performance as effectively as possible. All of my performances at Meta Illusions' Studio are captured on film with a three-camera setup and photographic lighting, which I designed myself.
As a result, I can alter the camera angle to depict the Magic in the most flattering light possible. When viewers are provided with a static screen view, it may also alleviate digital fatigue in certain situations.
Hiring A Magician For Your Virtual Event
In today's society, social alienation is a fact of life, and it has temporarily put a stop to all of our ambitions. Partying at the office is a thing of the past, and monumental gatherings are now prohibited by law. We all want a little human interaction. We cannot participate in the events that we are all familiar with and enjoy, whether they are huge galas, weddings, private parties, or any other kind of event! That is not to mean that those of us who are magicians would sit back and accept this! It is still in business, albeit it has adopted a new lifestyle in the realm of Zoom meetings and get-togethers, just as everyone else has done in recent decades. While it is not the same as the genuine experience of getting together and enjoying everyone's company the way we used to, it is as near as we can come to having everyone in the same room as we can get without having to travel.
The problems with online Magic
I work in the magic industry, which means that I have always been a tremendous lover of the craft. And, because of, well, camera tricks, I've always been apprehensive of doing Magic in front of a camera. Editing, camera cuts, computer-generated imagery, stooges, and every other trick in the book that can be employed to create the appearance of recorded Magic are all well-known to moviegoers everywhere.
In the case of Magic that occurs to you in front of your eyes, there is no simple explanation that can be used to "explain away" how accomplished the effect. That had to have been genuine wizardry! As a result, the effect of online Magic is significantly reduced, leaving us with a bit more empty sensation than the sense of disbelief we associate with a fantastic magic performance.
The solution? "Live" online Magic
It is always challenging to do Magic in front of a camera when our audience is not there in the same room as us because we may still hold to some of the obvious plausible explanations for how it is done. Still, I can evade a lot of them with a live performance. There is no way to remove them altogether, but it is possible to remove them enough to make a lasting impression.
Affects may be customized to match the current situation. May identify a card, and the effect is done so that it is evident that the magician knows what card is being used, rather than having the spectator choose a card that the magician is unaware of. In part, because the magician closer and more easily manipulates the camera, you as a viewer might frequently wind up seeing things from a different viewpoint than you would have otherwise.
The majority of my concerts are now performed in front of a camera pointed directly at me. When I do a card effect, on the other hand, I alter the camera angle so that the audience sees the cards and my hands from the top down. While doing a close-up performance in person, only the individuals closest to me may have seen this angle. Still, with this new technology, even if I perform in front of fifty or five hundred people, everyone can see everything well.
The advantages of an online magic show
Everyone in an online audience for a play gets the most excellent seat in the house. There is no worry of missing anything because you are sitting in the "cheap seats" or at an awkward angle, as there is with a conventional audience. You may hear every one of the statements. Nobody will volunteer to go on stage, unfortunately. Still, if the magician needs a volunteer, they may step in quickly and effortlessly without fussing with going on stage from wherever they happen to be seated at the time of the performance.
